Ironbeer The original Cuban soda, since 1917
Born in Havana in 1917. Made in Miami today. Bold, smooth and caffeine free, the same as it has always been.
The original taste since 1917
Ironbeer, often written Iron Beer, is a soda, not a beer, and there is no caffeine in it. It pours dark and drinks sweet and smooth, with a taste of fruit, a hint of island spice and a small bite at the finish. The flavor is the original from 1917.
It comes in 12 ounce cans, 12 ounce plastic bottles and 2 liter bottles. Drink it cold, with a Cuban sandwich, a plate of lechón or on its own.
“A mule drawn, wooden wagon arrives at a popular cafeteria in Havana, Cuba. This wagon delivered the first four cases of a new soft drink, Ironbeer, that would soon be called ‘The National Beverage.’”
As told on every can
That was Havana in 1917. The company came to Miami in the 1960s. Sunshine Bottling makes Ironbeer in Miami today.
